The main window is where you edit your documents. XMLwriter includes intelligent popup entry helpers to assist you in the editing process. Document windows are tabbed for easy navigation. An unlimited number of document windows can be opened in XMLwriter. The main window includes the internal browser preview window.
The workspace window includes Project View, Explorer View, TagBar, and Snippets. The workspace can be toggled on and off, and is dockable.
The Error View is automatically displayed when performing batch validation and XSL transformation in a project. If a file contains an error, double-clicking on the message in the Error View will open the file and place the cursor in the position where the error occurred. The Tool View is a User Tools option, and is used to capture the output of a User Tool. The Tool View is also used to display Find in Files search results. The Tool View can be toggled on and off, and is dockable.
